The High Line Park is filled with unique and beautiful plant lives that deserve exploration and attention. Unfortunately, there are no signs to provide a fuller experience to visitors. Family and children overlooked the opportunity to connect and explore with the environment. They are disengaging and often feel bored shortly.
Hivemind fills that gap while connecting explorers with social engagements.

I was doing a direct observation while I was walking around High Line Park. I found many people walking around but no one talking or making friends with each other. Many teenagers were staying with their cell phones, or they just walked around longly. High Line Park was a boring place that there was nothing fun for them to stay.
Many inspirations are coming out when we are brainstorming. The history of High Line, the art that created in the park, the train terminal under the bridge, and the gardening that we saw around us. They all became our inspirations.

Hivemind is an app that can grow a virtual flower while you made friend in the High Line Park. Therefore, I use flower as a logo. It was inspired with one of the flowers that growth in High Line Park named the Black Eye Susan.
When we made the storyboard, we discussed how the mobile app would look like. Then, I spend a quiet afternoon using it as a draft to create a simple app from InVision and illustration.
This was a flower stem that was purposely used for this project. This flower was inspired by one of the flowers that grew in High Line Park named the Black Eye Susan. This flower stem would place in the garden like the rest of the art collection. With a QR code in the middle of the flower, people can scan it and start downloading the Highmind app in the High Line.
Hivemind is an app that can assist people in gaining more knowledge of plants in parks and making new friends by collecting all elements that need to grow virtual plants in the mobile app.

It is a summer workshop. It was very challenging because we had very limited time. However, our team made it! My team and I were happy with our successful outcome! We worked very hard as a team and far and beyond with the project. We are not only the first team to complete the project, but we also have the prototype and mobile app during our presentation. Of course, we had a very successful night during the presentation. Throughout this project, I learned time management and nothing we can't do as long as we work as a team.
